COCKROACHES
Cockroaches are among the most common pests in many homes and other buildings. At night they search for food in kitchens, food storage places, rubbish bins, drains and sewers. They are pests because of their filthy habits and bad smell. Some people may become allergic to cockroaches after frequent exposure. Cockroaches can sometimes play a role as carriers of intestinal diseases, such as diarrhoea, dysentery, typhoid fever and cholera.

The American cockroach is the largest cockroach found in houses. Despite its name, the American cockroach is not native to North America, but was likely introduced via ships from Africa in the 1600s.Females can hatch up to 150 offspring per year. Cockroaches don’t get their wings until they become adults.
Brown banded cockroaches get their name from the two light bands they have across their dark brownish bodies. The male’s wings are larger than the female’s wings. Brownbanded cockroaches often hide their eggs in or under furniture. They usually live 5-6 ½ months.

German cockroaches can be found all over the world. They are the most common cockroach in the United States. Each German cockroach can live about 100-200 days.
CONTROL METHODS

In order to detect potential pest issue early, we recommend you have regular inspection at your premises. All of our services are tailored to suit the need of your individual business.
  • RESIDUAL SPRAY

The 4 or 6 liters sprayer is an important tool for spraying control. A sprayer with a multiple spray nozzles can apply insecticides safely and accurately to the insect harborages.

  • GEL BAITING

Cockroach Gel can be discreetly applied in hard to-reach cracks and crevices and away from children and pets. After ants feed on the gel, they return to the colony and transfer the bait to the queen and the others, thereby killing the entire colony.

  • SANITATION

The “bottom line” to long term control is the fact that pest must have adequate food and shelter to live and thrive. The removal of these factors alone via sanitation practices will have tremendous impact in reducing pest population, However to control pest, without any attempt to eliminate their food and shelter via sanitation, pest populations can quickly and repeatedly rebound. Therefore, sanitation is the backbone of a successful or failure of the pest control program.
